Dreamworks traces its roots from a group of Holywood big names and started as an independent studio with their eyes on making great and money making films. Unfortunately that did not work out so now the studio now owned by Paramount is busy with something else. Adaptatino to put it subtly.

Dreamworks is in negotiations with Electronic Arts to bring the game Need for Speed to the big screen hoping that they will have their own franchise similar to the Fast & Furious installments. The talks have been productive so far and the last time we heard, there is already a script crafted by George Gatins. If the talks with Dreamworks do not go as planned, EA is willing to discuss the project with other studios.

In case you want a good glimpse of what to expect if the game turns into a movie, we have the trailer below of The Run edition of the Need for Speed done by Michael Bay. Maybe when they really come up with something for the movie, we can expect something longer, with better actors, lesser sound effects, and more hot ladies. Just scroll down a bit more and you will be able to see the videos:

Eli Manning of the winning New York Giants received the keys for his brand new convertible 2012 Centennial Edtion Corvette Z06 Grand Sport. While he got the Grand Sport the Z06 Centennial version we have on feature depends on a V8 with 7.0L displacement and gives out 505 horsepower with a torque of 470 lb-ft. If Manning knew of those numbers, he might have opted for the Z06 too.

But again, who says no to a brand new Corvette for a bonus right? Anyway, whatever sports car you have in your garage, you might still end up wondering how it will go against the Nissan GT-R. For this match up though, we are looking at the 2013 release of the GT-R which has a 3.8L V6 engine with twin turbo that roars out 545 horsepower and a monstrous torque of 463 lb-ft.

We know you are already itching to see the duel between the 2012 Centennial Edition Corvette Z06 and the Godzilla of the asphalt. InsideLine was able to test the two sports cars on the race track.
